Modeling for a Mission
Using Fashion to Make a Difference
I’m honored to be modeling in the upcoming VCU Fashion event benefiting The Faison School on November 14, 2024, at the Science Museum of Virginia. This annual fundraising event is truly unique, blending the glamour of fashion with the power of philanthropy. As a model, I’m not just walking the runway—I’m walking for a cause that is close to my heart, supporting preschool children with autism and related challenges.
The Faison Center’s Early Education Center provides essential services to young children, offering a strong foundation for their educational journey. This program focuses on evidence-based practices that help children develop skills they need for lifelong success. The impact of these services is immeasurable, and I’m honored to be a part of an event that supports their growth and mission.
At Wine, Women, & Shoes, guests are treated to a fun and luxurious experience that goes beyond just raising funds—it’s about celebrating community and connection. The evening features wine tastings from top wineries, exquisite hors d’oeuvres, a marketplace of luxury vendors, and exciting auction opportunities. There’s entertainment, raffles, and so much more, all contributing to a night of giving back. Every penny raised will go directly to growing The Faison Center’s Early Education Center, which provides transformative support to children with autism.
Why Modeling for This Event Matters to Me:
As a model in this event, I’m reminded of how fashion can be a powerful tool for change. We often think of the runway as a place for beauty, but tonight, it’s a stage for something much more meaningful: making a difference in the lives of children and families. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this inspiring cause, and I can’t wait to see how our collective efforts will help transform the future for those who need it most.
Thank you to everyone involved in making this event possible—This night will be one to remember, for the kids who need us and for the families who will benefit from the amazing work being done at The Faison Center.
